Oregon Charitable Checkoff Image

Oregon Charitable Checkoff

Oregon taxpayers can donate a portion of their income tax refund to send kids to Camp Kuratli.

YOUR TAX REFUND AT WORK IN OREGON

Are you expecting a state income tax refund this year? Do you want to use it (or a portion of it) to support a good cause? If so, consider giving to The Salvation Army through the Oregon Charitable Checkoff. It's easier than you think!

WHAT IS THE CHARITABLE CHECKOFF?

Oregon's Charitable Checkoff gives taxpayers the opportunity to donate a portion of their tax refund to a participating charity of their choice simply by filling out a small section on their income tax return.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

  • Enter total on Line 47 or Form OR-40; line 73 of Form OR-40-N; or line 72 of Form OR-40-P. This amount can't reduce your net refund below zero.
  • Find Schedule OR-DONATE.
  • Find The Salvation Army (Line 6) on Schedule OR-DONATE.
  • Enter how much of your refund you want to contribute.
  • Enter the total of your contribution(s) listed on Schedule OR-DONATE on your tax form as instructed on the schedule.

WHERE WILL MY MONEY GO?

Your generous gift will help less fortunate children in Oregon receive the support and encouragement they desperately need. Kids from low-income families will experience character-building programs in the safe environment of The Salvation Army's Camp Kuratli in Boring, Oregon.
