The Salvation Army Portland Tabernacle Corps hosts Back-to-School Community Carnival in Happy Valley/Clackamas

 

Sponsors: Panda Express, Jimmy Johns, Walmart, Purell and NW College School of Beauty

 

What: Back-to-School Community Carnival.  The carnival will include food catered by Panda Express and Jimmy Johns as well as treats like fresh popcorn and cotton candy.  Professional haircuts will be given by NW College School of Beauty to children receiving resources.  There will be a variety of kids’ games and other fun activities for youth, including prizes and face painting.   

Why: Thanks to our generous community partner, Walmart, the carnival is a backpack and school supply giveaway to help local kids gear up for a new school season and enjoy a fun-filled event for the whole family.

Who should attend: The greater Portland metropolitan community is invited, including families and children.

When: Friday, Aug. 26, 4-7 p.m.

Where: Salvation Army Portland Tabernacle Corps, 8495 SE Monterey Ave. in Happy Valley/Clackamas, OR.
